The Idea Center is Miami Dade College's (MDC) entrepreneurship and innovation hub. We work to nurture an entrepreneurial mindset in every student regardless of academic background. And, we help students turn their "side hustle" into their "main hustle" by accompanying them through every stage of the innovation, ideation, and business creation process. We create experiential learning opportunities with small businesses, high-growth start-ups, and global company CEOs that expose our students to how entrepreneurs think and work each day. In addition, our flagship program, ScaleUp Miami, offers leadership and business development opportunities for small business owners in our community.
